Septic tanks
A septic tank is an underground watertight chamber typically made of concrete, fiberglass or plastic through which domestic wastewater (sewage) flows for treatment through the process of biological decomposition and drainage.
A septic tank is used in areas that are not connected to a sewage system, such as rural areas. They work by collecting the excreta and wastewater in one underground chamber and the treated liquid effluent is commonly disposed in a septic drain field which provides further treatment.
SEPTIC TANK CLEANING
A septic tank needs regular maintenance and cleaning. If the septic tank is not cleaned toxins and antibacterial substances can build up and kill the bacteria that break the waste down helping it to decompose. When the decomposition process slows down it can lead to blockage, back up and overflow.
